Day 115: The Library Aisles

These aisles of books just freak me out!

I am terrified of the library. I don’t know why, but there’s just something about it that makes me want to avoid it at all costs. The gorilla standing guard outside the library didn’t help my trepidation.

I had to venture in there  to do some grant research today. I wandered everywhere looking for Table 7 in the reference section. Three librarians later, I found it!

So today, I learned how to navigate the library, and maybe that it’s not so scary after all. I actually finished quite a bit of work once I sat down and faced my library fears.

Maybe your fear came from “Ghostbusters?” You just need a few books floating in mid-air in that shot.

This is a fabulous shot Whitney! And I’m so glad you conquered your fear. 🙂 I personally love all the shelves and shelves of books…makes me want to cuddle up on the couch with a good book!

    • Thanks Bonnie! But, it really is a scary place!!!! hehehe. I was kind of inspired in there though… I might have to go back and find a really creepy aisle! Maybe my theme next week will be the library..

This is probably my favorite shot of yours now! I love libraries so I have exact opposite reaction that you do. If I had room I would have a library in my home 🙂 I am glad you ventured in because we may never have gotten this gorgeous shot!

Libraries are some of my favorite places. Love this shot.

I love libraries, don’t know why, but I love the solitude, the smell of books and really how everything is organized….once you learn the system.

  6. Hi there, got here via Jim’s site, like what I have seen so far! I really like how the aisle leads you through the photo. Nicely captured.
